As the 2025 lambing season draws nearer with each passing day, I find myself reflecting on the years before. The excitement of the first birth—the joy of holding a newborn lamb, so small yet bursting with the vigor of life. I recall the moments of deep sorrow at the loss of a lamb and must remind myself that, despite our best efforts, some things remain beyond our control. With life comes death, an inevitable part of the cycle. Yet, in its presence, life becomes all the more precious—an awe-inspiring, transformative force that takes root within us.

This photo, taken a few years ago, always brings me joy. It serves as a reminder that even in moments of sorrow, the sunrise brings warmth, renewal, and a quiet reassurance carried on the crisp morning air.
